Steam-to-Water and Water-to-Water Heat Exchangers with Single or Double Wall Tubing
Thrush Co. Inc. has exceptional workmanship manufacturing shell and u-tube heat exchangers. The shell and u-tube heat exchangers are engineered to meet your specified requirements to fulfill the heating and cooling process systems, heat recovery and comfort system using steam or liquid. Thrush uses modern equipment to manufacture the component parts of the heat exchangers to insure the quality and the quickest delivery in the industry for a single-wall or a double-wall heat exchanger. Our Quality Control Department oversees the manufacture of the all heat exchangers. All shell and u-tube heat exchangers are manufactured under the requirements in accordance with ASME Code Section VIII Division 1, and are registered with the National Board of Boilers and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. A standard single-wall heat exchanger comes with a cast iron head, steel shell, steel baffles, steel tubesheet, ¾" 20 gauge copper tubes. A standard double-wall heat exchanger comes with a cast iron head, steel shell, steel baffles, steel tubesheets, ¾" double-wall copper tubes. Thrush offers many variations for heat exchangers in material, pressure, temperature, and special features to meet all application requirements. Our newest features are ½" tubing in various materials and finned tubing in various sizes. We also offer Plate Heat Exchangers that use metal plates to transfer heat between two fluids. This has a major advantage over a conventional heat exchanger in that the fluids are exposed to a much larger surface area because the fluids spread out over the plates. This facilitates the transfer of heat, and greatly increases the speed of the temperature change.
